Okay, Maybe not at the SAME time, But I have three ongoing projects. One is an unpaid "commision" I'm doing of a guy's girl friend. Why unpaid you may ask... for promotion. I am trying to  promote myself and my website. I told him that I would do it without pay if he would let everyone who sees the drawing know where they can contact me if they want to have something done. I really bit off more than I could chew with this one. He sent me a really bad photo, probably taken with a camera phone. I wrote to him and asked if he had a better image he could send me. I recieved a photo that was better, but only marginally. I've started over 3 times

Hey all

0 min read
I decided to join up here and see what the world of Deviant art is like. Most of my completed works were unfortunatly given away or sold to someone...and dumb me... I never thought to take pictures of them. My talent comes mostly from hard work, and colorful curse-words. I lose patients sometimes and tend to quit working on something when I feel I've gotten all that I'm going to get out of it. I will finish something if I'm getting paid for it, or I'm giving it as a gift. I'm working on a website that teaches drawing using primarily the grid technique. This is becoming a lot of work but I'm learning a great deal about HTML codeing and sear

nice gallery --good work
yes there's lots of hard work to these faces
Thanks, I wish I had taken photos of all of my works, but for whatever reason I didn't think about it at the time. It was more of a hobby then. I am tossing ideas around as to how I can turn my hobby into a profession. Of course I'll have to actually finish more of them. I enjoyed your gallery. I tend to stare at works that I like hoping by some miracle I'll absorb some of the creative energy that the artist had when creating it, and then be able to do as good a job as her/him...no luck so far, I guess I'll have to do it the hard way...practice, practice, practice! Anyway, thanks again,
Jeff
I can suggest a book and a website by Tony Ryder
I studied with him this summer and I learned more than you would ever imagine...

his website has more info in each of the tabs than what you'll find in most books for sure

enjoy

Hi Jeff, i want to tell you that you added a girl called llach17 to your deviantwatch, she steals everything that she shows on this website, many people were very pissed off about it and she was reported several times.
Just in case :)
I don't even know what a deviantwatch is. I also reported a person that I thought was taking other's works and claiming them as his/hers. Maybe this is how llach17 got into my deviantwatch. Where is my deviantwatch. I've looked everywhere. It's probably right under my nose, I just can't find it. Thanks for taking time to "warn" me, most people wouldn't have done that. Have a great day,
Jeff
I think you added her when you tried to report her......:)
Well, if you add an artist to your deviantwatch it means that you will be always reported every time that person uploads a piece. When you visit a deviant gallery, page or specific piece you can add them to your deviantwatch by clickin "deviantwatch" from the middle toolbar and then saving it. You can erase her from your own page, go to the toolbar, click the option "more", situaded fisrt on the right, then "account tools" and finally "friends", and your list of "watchs" will be displayed.
You're very welcome, no problem at all..
Thank you very much and a great things for you as well
Take care

By the way.....sorry for my trashy english, i hope it's clear anough :)
